58. Pourquoi 58 indices ? Parce que 5 + 8 = les membres du corps, bras, jambes et tête, et les 8 régions du corps : le dos, le ventre, le crâne, le visage, les fesses, le sexe, l’anus, la gorge. Ou bien parce que 5 + 8 = 13 et 13 = 1 & 3, 1 valant pour l’unité (un corps) et 3 valant pour l’incessante agitation et transformation qui circule, qui se divise et qui s’excite entre la matière du corps, son âme et son esprit… Ou bien encore: l’arcane XIII du tarot désigne la mort, et la mort incorpore le corps dans l’inusable corps universel des boues et des cycles chimiques, des chaleurs et des éclats stellaires…

Because 5 + 8 = the members of the body, arms, legs, and head, and the eight regions of the body: the back, the belly, the skull, the face, the buttocks, the genitals, the anus, the throat. Or else because 5 + 8 = 13 and 13 = 1 & 3, 1 standing for unity (one body) and 3 standing for an endlessly circulating agitation and transformation; dividing and exciting itself among the body’s matter, soul and spirit … Or even: the arcane XIII of the tarot deck designating death, death incorporating the body in an everlasting universal body of mud and chemical cycles, of heat and stellar bursts …

Oppure perché 5 + 8 = 13 e 13 = 1 & 3, 1 che vale per l’unità (un corpo) e 3 che vale per l’incessante agitazione e trasformazione che circola, si divide e si eccita tra la materia del corpo, la sua anima e il suo spirito… Oppure ancora: l’arcano XIII del tarocco designa la morte, e la morte incorpora il corpo nell’indistruttibile corpo universale dei fanghi e dei cicli chimici, dei calori e degli splendori stellari…
